Our vision is to transform our new space into a vibrant community hub for creativity, reuse, and connection.
After two years of operating through pop-up events and gathering feedback from our community, we are ready to launch our brick-and-mortar space! A place that welcomes makers, teachers, artists, families, students, visitors, neighbors, and anyone who believes in the power of imagination and sustainability. Sunshine will be more than a store — it will be a creative hub where materials are rescued, ideas are sparked, and community is built.

Inside, the space will feel warm, open, and inspiring — full of color, texture, and possibility. We’re designing areas for browsing and discovery, creative work tables, class and workshop space, kid-friendly spaces, and community gathering areas. You’ll find shelves filled with rescued materials, supplies for every kind of making, and space that invites people to linger, create, and connect.

We’re also planning for the outside of our building to shine just as brightly as the inside — with murals by local artists that reflect creativity, inclusion, and community pride. Sunshine should feel like a beacon in Brevard: welcoming, joyful, and alive with possibility.

Right now, we’re in the build phase — and this is where we need you.
We’re raising funds to support renovations, upfitting the space, securing our lease, murals, supplies, and the infrastructure that will allow Sunshine Creative Reuse to open strong and sustainable. This includes building repairs, cleaning and prep work, painting, lighting, shelving and storage builds, creative displays, classroom areas, and the behind-the-scenes systems that make a space like this actually function.

Every gift helps turn an empty building into a living, breathing community space.
Every dollar supports not just a store — but a mission: keeping materials out of landfills, making creativity accessible, supporting local artists and educators, and building a space where people of all ages feel welcome to imagine, make, and belong.

Sunshine Creative Reuse is being built by the community, for the community.
And with your support, we can bring this space to life — together.
