About the event
Artist Lauren White will be leading a workshop on how to handcraft a pine needle basket.
Originating from Native Americans from the woodland tribes, pine needle baskets are an
ecofriendly form of basketry. You will be using resources that are from the environment and can
safely return to the environment. Using natural fibers of hemp, we will weave together the pine
needles and create a beautiful small basket great for holding change, rings, rocks or keys etc.
Cost: $40
