Class: Knit a Sophie Scarf (10/21 & 11/4)

Learn to knit the Sophie Scarf in this two-part beginner-friendly knitting class. Basic knitting skills are encouraged. This is a two-part class. Participants must be available 10/21 and 11/4 from 5:30-7:00pm on both dates to complete the class. Make-up classes will not be offered. The ticket price ($35) reflects the cost for both dates.

Part One (Wednesday, 10/21): We will review choosing the appropriate needles and yarn for a pattern and casting on. Then, you will learn to follow a pattern which includes increasing, decreasing, and various methods of counting/tracking rows. 

Part Two (Wednesday, 11/4): We will learn to decrease and cast-off. 

In between parts one and two, participants will follow the pattern to complete all of their increases (halfway through the pattern). 

Each participant will receive the Sophie Scarf template by PetiteKnit, which is included in the cost of the ticket.

Materials provided: knitting needles, yarn, pattern.
